Family Mediation

Family mediation is a non-adversarial process to help people reach agreements. Interfaith Family Help works to discuss the issues related to family conflicts, to explore viable options for settlement, and to identify solutions that best meet the needs of the children involved. In this process, a mediator works to resolve disputes associated with:

  - Divorce & Separation

- Post Divorce Modification

- Pre-nuptial Agreements

- Parenting Agreements

- Child Custody

- Joint Custody

- Child Support

- Estate and other Family Issues

Parenting Education

The purpose of our parenting education program is to help parents understand how children are affected by divorce and other family changes.

Our program is designed to help parents develop an awareness of the impact of divorce from the child's perspective and to understand the effects of divorce on child behavior and development.

The program is specifically designed to help parents make healthy choices regarding their children and will help parents avoid mistakes concerning the way they relate to their children.

Collaborative Family Law

Couples facing divorce encounter many challenges — especially when children are involved. Collaborative Family Law is a structured process that enables parties involved in family law disputes to commit themselves to resolving their differences justly and equitably in a non adversarial setting without resorting to litigation.

Collaborative law offers an alternative to court.  The collaborative choice offers the opportunity to focus on what is important to you, your family and your children’s future. When couples decide to take a less adversarial approach, the entire family can benefit.

The process operates in an environment grounded in integrity, honesty, cooperation, mutual understanding and good faith to facilitate the resolution of differences without painful litigation. Interfaith Family Help can work toward settling your case rather than conducting a trial resulting in both financial and emotional savings to all parties involved.

We concentrate in helping parents to create developmentally sound parenting agreements and resolve pre and post divorce decree parenting issues. In family mediation, everyone has a chance to talk and to listen and to win.
